A1 Esports League Season 2: Qualifying Round 2 Results

Oulton Park was the venue for the second qualifying round of the A1 Esports League in Project CARS 2. The drivers attacked this narrow, unforgiving British circuit in the Mercedes AMG A45 Touring Car. As you'd expect in any touring car competition, the action was close & frantic, and contact between cars was frequent. All of the drivers demonstrated supreme skill, with the top six fastest laps in each session rarely separated by more than a few tenths of a second. It was another great field of talent too, with representation from many of the world's fastest sim-racing teams. Including VP Gaming, TX3, G2, Oscaro, Team Redline, Veloce, F4H, & more.

The racing was tense and focussed. Throughout the day, drivers took big risks, going two-wide through the fast kink at Island Bend, and sometimes even going three-wide into the tight chicanes.
