Our Esports drivers were back in action this weekend for ESL Project CARS Go4 Cup #27. This week we travelled to Germany and the Hockenheim GP circuit to put the GT4 cars through their paces once more. The modern Hockenheim track is a very different beast to what came before. The original circuit was a crazy-fast test of bravery thanks to its colossal long straights which were only punctuated by tight chicanes. The current track ditches most of the old layout in favour of a twistier, more technical design which often divides driver opinion. While many fans long for the classic layout, there’s still plenty to enjoy about the sweeping fast corners that make up the second half of the lap at the modern Hockenheimring. As always, the drivers were competing for a €150 prize fund - split into three €50 prizes, one for the winner on each platform. At the end of April, the top 12 drivers on each platform will be invited to race in the monthly Final for an additional prize fund of €450!
The next ESL Project CARS open tournament is the Go4 Cup #28 on Sunday April 10 with a €150 prize fund!
Go4 events consist of 4 or 5 weekly cups and a monthly final each month. The Cup Series is free and open to everyone and has €50 waiting for the best player on each platform. The weekly cups take place every Sunday and start at 19:00 CEST. All players earn ranking points to qualify for the Monthly Final where the winners on each platform will receive a €150 bonus! Don’t forget, you can now vote for the circuit you want to race at in the next Go4 Cup. Please visit the ESL Project CARS forums to make your choice!
