It’s week two of month two in ESL Project CARS eSports and it’s time for the results from Go4 Cup #6! Last week we predicted some big challenges ahead for some of our once dominant drivers, with some surprises in store, and this week’s Cup duly delivered! There were more new winners this week as October’s top talent continues to struggle for form in November, opening up the competition to some hungry new racers!

On PlayStation 4 this week, DriverR1 from France took home the €50 prize with his first ever back-to-back victories in the Project CARS Go4 Cups. Germany’s DrDrDD finished in second with another strong performance to add a big chunk of points to his total. Alexx545 came home in third to cement his good start to the November Cups. We saw many strong drivers struggle against the great pace in the GT3 field on PS4 this week, with CoTiNhO and Driver Network Championship regular, STD-RS_AleeX_FRA only making it as far as the quarter-finals. All that means that the PS4 points table for November looks like this after 2 rounds and some early victories for DriverR1:
  1. DriverR1 (Fra) - 200
  2. Alexx545 (Ger) - 135
  3. DrDrDD (Ger) - 105
  4. CoTiNhO (Esp) - 90

The Xbox One competition was blown wide open this week after SDL Mihalo, who has previously won every single Go4 Cup on Xbox, was knocked out in the quarter-finals by Slux J0K! This was a huge upset which opened the door at the top of the Xbox table and several drivers pushed hard to take advantage. Team Starlux finally made good on its Driver Network Championship experience and got two drivers onto the podium with Slux J0K and Slux PSY2PAC. The 50 EUR though went to UNITY tRiStS16, a new face from last week’s cup who managed a podium on his debut. It was amazing to see him follow that up with a powerful win, taking advantage of Mihalo’s misfortune to go top of the table as things stand on Xbox in November. A special mention goes to TX3 too, the subject of our latest eSports interview, who had TX3 Vecko finish 4th in Cup 6, putting him 3rd in the overall standings so far. Hopefully we can look forward to Mihalo’s performance next week as he tries to make amends for the difficult time he had this weekend.
  • UNITY tRiStS16 (Fra) - 160
  • SDL Mihalo (Fin) - 130
  • TX3 Vecko (Fra) - 100
  • Slux PSY2PAC (Fra) 90

Over on PC it was Poland’s khaki who claimed victory for the second week in a row, seeing off Blacky in second and TonyR in third. There was another big upset on PC too, with USSRxALeXeR, who won every PC Go4 Cup in October, knocked out in the round of 16 by Blacky! This was only the second time that USSRxALeXeR has finished off the podium in any Go4 Cup! Like Mihalo’s troubles on Xbox, this has created some big opportunities for some new faces to grab some points and stake their claim for the top of the standings.
  • khaki (Pol) - 200
  • TonyR (Ger) - 135
  • Papand (Nor) - 100
  • USSRxALeXeR (Ukr) - 80
