The results are in for the final ESL Project CARS Go4 Cup of November 2015! Cup #9 was the last chance for the top drivers to cement their place on the grid for the November ESL Monthly Final where the Top 8 drivers from each platform will come together to battle is out for a massive €450 prize fund! Let's see who made it into the top 8 in the PS4, Xbox One and PC Go4 Cups...

Go4 Cup #9 on PS4 saw a return to form by some of the biggest names from the Driver Network Championship. Team Shark Racing made it back onto the ESL podium, thanks to a top drive to second place from SMS-R series leader, TSRacing_Atho. TSRacing also fielded a second car this week, driven by TSRacing_Racer who made it as far as the round of 16. Team STD-RS was in great form too, taking its best result so far in the ESL events, with a third place finish for STD-RS_AleeX_Fra.

At the front though, it was another dominant display by DriverR1, who just can’t stop winning! Alexx545 and ockerocker missed out on this week’s Go4 Cup, but great performances in earlier events mean that they’ve still done enough to claim a place on the grid in the November ESL Finals.

This week’s action on the Xbox One really was something else! Team Unity finally got the breakthrough it has pushing for with its first ever ESL Project CARS victory in the hands of UNITY Barbarxxl. He was absolutely delighted with his performance and rightly so! It was a double podium for Unity too, with UNITY Nando coming home in third behind new podium finisher, rubio77.

1ère victoire dans le ESL !!! Trop content! Superbe 3ieme place de UNITY Nando et félicitations à tout le reste de la team!!

The eagle-eyed amongst you will no doubt have spotted that SDL Mihalo’s name is missing from the Xbox podium finishers. The once dominant Finn could only manage fourth place this week against the remarkable form of the Unity drivers. However, despite this big upset in Cup 9, Mihalo will still go into the November ESL Finals as the man to beat. He will have his work cut out for him though, with no less than three in-form Unity drivers also making it into the main event.

It was back to business as usual on PC this week, with the once dominating USSRxALeXeR returning to the top step of the podium in Cup 9. However, the battle behind him was extremely tight with newcomers sinka90 and MrKubool taking second and third respectively. These successful debutants demonstrated the fairness of the competition in ESL Project CARS events and the many opportunities for new talent to break into the championship.

Of course the big story in the PC Cup this week was a huge upset as khaki, who had previously won every November Cup, was defeated in only the second round! That means that the good form is definitely with USSRxALeXeR as we head into the November Finals. Khaki will have to focus his efforts to regain his composure and battle the other drivers for the overall November win and the €450 prize fund.
