This Week In Project CARS: Showdown At Knockhill

1/29/2018

Bonny Scotland hosted January's final ESL Go4 Cup in Project CARS 2, where Knockhill provided the tests and challenges. If the tight, short and bumpy conditions were not enough for the drivers to contend with, it was also a night race. Read the race report below.
ACR Jardier, continued his impressive form of late, and clinched another pole position after fending off challenges from GTA Tidgney and FAB.Iceman. The entire field of 12 was covered by just 0.8 of a second, so it would prove key to have track position from the off.

The lights went out and there was a mad dash to turn 1, but no real moves to speak of, as Jardier, Tidgney and Iceman all went through as they qualified. We had 2 casualties though, as YoohanTV and F4HJaaames got tangled and both span at turn 1. Jardier and Tidgney were locked in an almighty battle. They pulled away from FAB.Iceman who came under pressure from TX3 driver Toutouner, until the latter made a mistake and was then down to 8th after a slow-down penalty before he retired from the session. The pressure of Jardier's pace was too much for Tidgney at the front. With 5 laps to go he ran wide and ended up 4 seconds adrift. 1st was ACR Jardier, 2nd GTA Tidgney, and 3rd FAB.Iceman. Driver of the Day was ACR Radioactive, with an inspired performance which saw him climb from 12th to 7th.
