TX3_Storm takes victory in A1 Esports League Season 2

After an incredible day of racing in the Project CARS 2 Finals in A1 Esports League Season 2, it was TX3's StorM who came through in first place to win €6000 in Vienna. Game City hosted a fantastic event, which arguably saw this year's closest racing, as some of the biggest names in sim-racing battled it out. Check out the video of Races 1 & 2 below.
Race 2 in particular gave the fans some unbelievable thrills as three drivers fought for victory, nose-to-tail, lap-after-lap. Storm (TX3), MagicMSM (Team Redline), and Darwin Daume (VP Gaming) raced each other hard, but fair. The seemingly never-ending battle saw all three drivers swapping positions from corner-to-corner, with some absolutely outstanding race craft displayed by all. The defensive driving was aggressive, and sometimes close to the line, but never over it. They put on a fantastic show, and almost made Actrollvision lose his voice in the commentary booth! Ultimately, it was Storm who came out on top after the two races.
Storm (TX3) was joined on the overall podium by MagicMSM (Team Redline) in second, and Isaac21 (VP Gaming) in third. There were solid performances throughout the field too. Isaac Price (G2), boxer4everr (VP), Dornieden (Veloce), & Darwin Daume (VP), all finished on the same points total, which meant that the officials had to separate them by their fastest lap times. Mangator (Team Redline) also finished just 5 points behind this tight group. Congratulations to all of our finalists!
